Celebrating the life of
Christy B. Hurlebaus
March 02, 1963 - April 19, 2013
Christy B. Hurlebaus
Christy B. Hurlebaus, 50, died April 19, 2013 after 22 months of battling pancreatic cancer. She was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL March 2, 1963. Christy grew up in Central Florida. Met the love of her life at 3 years old and married him at the age of 18. Family soon followed. She is survived by her husband Greg, daughter Brandi, son Adam and his wife Rachel, daughter Shannon, granddaughter Ansley and mother Carol.
To each of our children - You are precious gift from the Lord. In training you up in God's way, even with mistakes, she saw your unique growth, which was one of her greatest joys of life. She will be watching over you.
To all her Family & Friends – she loved how God orchestrated every detail of her life and what each one of you meant to her personally. Proverbs 3:5-6 is her hope for each of you.
Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out shouting "Wow what a Ride".
Direct Sales was the career vehicle God used to grow us and helped teach our Children and others about Him. The peace He has shown us these years and especially during the storms of life does surpass all understanding…
That career began in 1994 when we moved to Savannah, GA to take over a Tupperware franchise. For 25 years Christy and her husband work with Tupperware and were thankful for the many wonderful people and places encountered over those years. In 2009, the Lord led us to work with Park Lane Jewelry as a Sales VP team. The family of Park Lane immediately embraced our family and has been a tremendous support since… Thank you doesn't seem like enough.
As many know Christy simply loved life and all people. Her presence will be missed here on earth, but Heaven rejoices as she comes HOME! Everything is as it should be and God's in charge…
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, May 4th at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of the Islands,
6613 Johnny Mercer Blvd. Savannah, GA 31410.
Remembrances: The family asks that in lieu of flowers; make a donation to For Hope, Inc., P.O. Box 30029, Savannah, GA 31410. A special not-profit organization created in honor of Christy to continue impacting the lives of others.
